As expected the Information event on 14th November had lots of positive broad statements and concepts about how lovely it's all going to be.
At last the Concept plan indicating the current indications of what they would like the development to look like is in the public domain - though it has been confirmed that not even the boundary to the area on the map is guaranteed or enforcable.
Neither are the exact allocations of the land parcels - which in effect will depend on where the developers are prepared to build - which will of course be less likely on land which is expensive to develop (ie the contaminated land and airfield itself).
It was also confirmed that despite the hugely intimidating comment form - most of the numerous technical fields are helpful but not mandatory - more on this follows.
We are setting up an urgent Public Meeting to hear your thoughts and inform people how they can oppose the plans.
