The Dolphin Inn - "Ounce"
With a documented history dating back to the early 1800s the Dolphin is part of the soul of the villages and a wonderful social hub for the community.

Bishampton & Villages Hall
The Villages Hall is a hub for clubs societies and events. With main hall, 2 conference rooms kitchens and bar plus parking and outdoor spaces the hall provides a very flexible resource and is available for hire.

Church and Chapelry
The Parish of St. James Bishampton and The Chapelry, Throckmorton are part of a group known as the Flyford Family of Churches, which includes Abberton, Naunton Beauchamp and Flyford Flavell, as well as Grafton Flyford and North Piddle.

Shorthorn Woods
The 10 hectare Shorthorn Wood lies between Bishampton and Throckmorton and is leased from Wychavon by the Parish Council, for the community.
A team of volunteers manage the wood through regular work parties and aim to enhance it's biodiversity and maintain it as an amenity for future generations.
There are over 40 species of tree in the wood and abundant wild mammals, birds and butterflies
There are no public footpaths in the wood but walkers, horseriders and cyclists are welcome to use it.

Nature Reserve
Tucked away at the end of Moat Farm Lane is Bishampton's own little nature reserve. Preserving natural habitat to benefit native flora and fauna it forms a small oasis for many species which struggle in gardens.

Follow the sign at the end of the lane and you will find the gate and beyond it the information board.
Please respect the reserve and take care not to damage this highly natural environment.

Phone Box Project
The two Phone boxes one in Bishampton and One in Throckmorton have been re-purposed and are maintained as information kiosks. Information includes illustrated maps created by local artist Carolyn Morris.
Our Telephone Boxes are also listed with the National K6 Project www.thek6project.co.uk
Defibrillators
The Parish maintain two community Defibrillators for the potentially life saving emergency use. One is outside the village shop in Bishampton, the other outside the Parish Rooms in Throckmorton.
The Council also support and encourage first responder courses in their use.
