We meet every Friday, except when we don’t, at 9:00 am outside the shop and then take off into the known.
The cycling group was formed a few years ago by the greatly missed Martin Dickinson and Bill Ellis and Baldric owes its wonderful acronym to Bill Ellis.
The group welcomes anybody (as you can see) to join in, even those who rely on electric engine assistance 😉

Bishampton is lucky to have a group of talented performers who bring much joy to the village with their productions. Performances are well supported and much looked forward to by the local audiences.

Bishampton & District Gardening Club

Our club meets monthly from February to December, usually on the first Wednesday in the month at the Villages Hall, Broad Lane, Bishampton WR10 2LY.
The meetings are a mixture of talks on all kinds of gardening topics by experts,
visits to gardens and outings, Spring and Summer Shows and social events including our annual Christmas Dinner.

Walk every 3rd Tuesday of the month, starting at 10:00 from the Bishampton Shop
Walks take around 4 hours. Please bring a packed lunch and drinks as required.

Time Out: Art Group

Time Out allows you time out of your busy lives to absorb yourself in some artistic creation.
For all abilities, the sessions follow a general theme of art history and offer an opportunity to learn some new skills and try new approaches, as we have a play with all kinds of materials.

Table Tennis Club
An active Table Tennis club meets regularly at the village hall.
With both adult and junior sections the club is welcoming and encouraging to those of all abilities.
Bishampton Strollers

We are a local group that wanders nearby footpaths on a regular monthly basis, usually meeting on the second Sunday of each month. If you fancy a gentle walk to work up a thirst or appetite before your Sunday lunch, (with the diversion to the Dolphin on the way home), then why not come along and join our friendly group.

Bishampton Consort
Roger Blears runs a small group of five recorder players plus a bass viol player.
The line up is currently (1) descant/tenor, (2) a descant/bass (including a grand petsos bass), (3) a treble, (4) a tenor, (5) a tenor/bass; and (6) a bass viol.
Rehearsals are held in an Old Baptist Chapel which Roger has recently renovated; it has wonderful acoustics.
We meet weekly on Friday evenings at 6:00 to 7:30pm depending on other commitments.

Organised by Bill Ellis the society tours various local courses on the last Friday of each month (from March to October).

Sue and Bill Ellis run the Bishampton Bridge Club (first Thursday evening of the month, September to May, in the Villages Hall).

Friends of St. James
Friends of St James (FoSJ) is a secular charity whose purpose is to maintain the fabric of this lovely village church and to promote its use for the whole village community for a wide variety of events.

Pershore Flower Club
Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month ( except August and December) at 7:30 pm at Bishampton Village Hall, Broad Lane, Bishampton, Pershore, WR10 2LY.
Membership costs just £25 per year plus an entry fee of £2 .00 per meeting.
Visitors are very welcome to join us at our meetings, entry fee £5.00.
