As a Wychavon resident you could be entitled to a FREE review of your energy usage provided by Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire, helping you find practical ways to make improvements that will keep you warm this winter.
This may include the installation of energy-saving equipment at no cost. They can also explore any benefits and discounts that you may be able to access for further support.

Practical Wildlife Project - Help Wildlife and the Nature Reserve and Shorthorn Wood!
Looking for an engaging practical project for yourself or to share with children?
The council are looking for people to build bird boxes and hedgehog homes for our wildlife spaces. Why not build some for your gardens too.
Full details are provided to great plans provided by the RSPB and the Wildlife Trusts.
A piece of timber will be required - otherwise just normal tools and a little bit of time and effort!

With numbers of hedgehogs bekieved to be down to under 1 million in the UK - these charming creatures need safe homes too.
The Wildlife Trusts have published a full set of instructions to create an ideal Hedgehog home - which can then be sited either in the Nature Reserve or in Shorthorn Wood.
